Points and the world pool
Points are accounted per world and can only be spent inside that world. Issuance is bounded by both the pool balance and the daily limit; either shortage stops issuance.
Default earn rules
| Rule | Default points | Daily cap | Trigger |
|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome reward | 20 | One-off | First entry into the world |
| Creation | 1 | 20 | Adding or editing one of your pixels |
| Daily check-in | 2 | 2 | Once per day |
| Daily exploration | 3 | 3 | Valid views of 5 works by others that day |
The world owner can adjust the point value and daily cap of each rule, or disable a rule. The platform caps these parameters at 500 points per award and 500 points per day.
The pool and the central-bank rule
Every world holds a pool. When a new world is created, the platform injects 200 points as initial capital. Claim fees and the pool’s share of unlock revenue flow back in, and all issuance is paid out of it.
A world owner sees how much can be issued today, not how much they would like to issue. When the pool balance or the daily limit is exhausted, issuance pauses automatically and resumes the next day.
Daily release limit
The daily release limit is 5% of the pool balance, with a floor of 1 point. The limit resets per calendar day and issued amounts are not rolled back. The purpose is to prevent short-term over-issuance: the smaller the pool, the less it can pay out.
Event bonuses are clamped by the same three layers: remaining event budget, today’s release limit, and the pool balance. The smallest of the three applies.
Ledger and idempotency
Every award is written to the ledger with its rule source, idempotency key, and resulting balance. Duplicate view reports are de-duplicated by key and never score twice; the same block counts once per day toward exploration progress.
Points cannot move between worlds, be withdrawn, or be exchanged for any benefit outside the platform.
